I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of training and experience in working with diverse clientele with a broad range of therapeutic goals in a variety of settings including an outpatient hospital clinic, community health center, domestic violence shelter, university counseling centers, and private practice. In addition to provision of psychotherapy services, I have supervised and trained graduate students in an APA-accredited internship program, taught graduate psychology courses, provided outreach and crisis intervention services, and served on the board of the Collin County Psychology Association in North Texas including in the role of President.
These varied professional experiences reflect my commitment to effective and ethical mental health provision and maintaining a broad clinical knowledge base. I also recognize the importance of finding balance and fostering growth and self-awareness on my own life path through continuing education, consultation with peers, and self-care. In my free time, you might find me playing with my kids, laughing with my husband and friends, meditating, reading, singing along to the radio, encouraging myself to exercise (sometimes succeeding), traveling, or watching a movie.
